The Cottage at No. 3

Nothing was too much trouble.

Anna was very welcoming, accommodating and polite, the cottage was clean and tidy, she even ensured there was milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival and freshly picked flowers in a vase on the table. It was like a home away from home. the grounds in which it was situated are beautiful and the surrounding area was peaceful and scenic.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Accommodation, furniture, fixtures and fittings....all to the highest standard.. Owners lovely and helpful. Couldn't recommend this enough 👌

Lovely bright and comfortable accommodation, excellent facilities and a great location.

The cottage in a lovely location, everything was beautifully clean and the owners were very friendly.

The village is small, but right on the ridgeway/king alfreds way trail. The hosts cleaned out space for us to put our bikes away securely, which was a huge decider on getting the property. The room was great, nice kitchen and a great couch to sit and read books on.

The property was great! There's not a whole lot else going on around there, but it's ok if you don't mind driving 5 minutes, or just want to get away.

This is an ideal place for a stopover on a long journey - as it was for us - but would also make a lovely base for staying in the area. It's up a very quiet lane with very little passing traffic, and opportunities for dog walking in both directions. The cottage has everything that you need.

This is a message for Booking.com not the host - it would be great if your site could let potential bookers know the dog fee charged before booking, as then potential bookers will know how much the entire stay will cost. Thank you.

Nothing everything was exceptional

So welcoming. The cottage and everything you needed and more. So helpful in advising about where to eat and go. And even ran out to say goodbye to us. We will be back.
