The CHU cafe / guesthouse

The host had excellent communication and was quick to assist me with any questions I had or solve any issues. I also liked the big windows in the room. The location is also very close to Nai Harn Beach.

Unfortunately there is construction across the street, but that can't be helped. In the future it will be over. For the most part it was not an issue though, as I was usually out and bout during the working hours.

Great room: big and clean. Location was very good for walking to the beach. Food at the cafe was great too.

Minor thing but we couldn't get the TV to work. But probably our error!

Location was perfect for me, close to everything I needed; shops, beach, gym! It felt very homey inside and the room was a great size and felt comfortable.

The shower drain was blocking up a bit and it would be great to have some more kitchen utilities (just personal preference) as I like to cook while away as well. But I made do with the fridge and kettle!

Comfortable bed, friendly stuff, parking for bikes. Road to the beach (Nai Harn) takes 3-4 min by bike. 7eleven is 3-4 min by foot. A lot of cafes nearby

- I stayed one week and the cleaning was just once - Very noisy road, the noise isolation is so poor, you could literally hear everything from the street - Lots of scuffs and scrapes on walls, dirty window - You won't find bottled water in the rooms, also there were no cups and glasses

Location & ease of getting around

The staff were lovely and helpful. Property location wasn’t too bad it was about a 10-15 min walk to the beach. Rooms were large and spacious.

Rooms were very worn and in need of refurbishment, lots of scuffs and scrapes on walls, doors were blackened and dirty from hands etc. door handle to the bathroom had clearly been ripped off and then just screwed back on as there was a hole in the door. Bed sheets were kinda dirty, could tell they were washed but they were old and stained. Shower curtain was dirty and mouldy. Air con doesn’t work very well, it was 33 degrees outside and it was cooler outside than it was in the room, they tried to fix the air con and it got better but still wasn’t great, had air con work a lot better in 50+ other hotels during our travels.
