Idiakez - Basque Stay

It was quiet. Good location not too far from train station and beach. Large bed. Elevator was handy.

It was super cheap. We were very disappointed. Everything (furniture, appliances, kitchen not well stocked) was super cheap. It was bare minimum of acceptable standard. Kitchen had no soap, salt, pepper, olive oil. it was stripped of everything. Bed, while large, was not comfortable. It said dryer but there was only washer, hang clothes to dry, which is ok if you have time but false advertising to say dryer. Rug in living room was gross, needed to be cleaned. Lights hanging out of ceiling, we took pics. Door scrapped floor and left marks. Just overall felt very cheap. Check in process before and day of was a major PITA. I will never do Booking for apartment again, only AirBnB or VRBO. It was definitely run by an uncaring management company.

The location was great - close to the old town and the beaches. It was on the 4th floor - with a lift. The apartment was at the back of the building, and was very quiet for sleeping.

It would have been nice to have A/C, but it feels like A/C is not very common in this part of Spain. Fans were provided, and the windows could be tilted open.
