Seaside Sundae Suite

Great central location. Accommodation clean. Excellent communication from host.

It would have been helpful if there were tea towels and loo roll.

The house is in a super location close to the centre of St Annes and about 10 minutes walk from the beach and the pier.

It was very cold. There were two wall heaters that we could not get to work and there was no information about how to work them. There was one portable heater that worked and we had to move that from room to room with us. In the main living area we resorted to turning on the electric oven and leaving the door open! There was no hot water and again no information about how to turn it on. (We only realised this at 9.00 in the morning as we were getting ready to leave.) There were no bins at all in the property, either in the kitchen or the bathroom. There was no information how to work the tv in the living room and we could not get it to work. We contacted the owners to let them know how disappointed we were and they said we should have contacted them, but surely it is more sensible to have some information available for these basic questions and issues. Very disappointing. Such a shame because it could be a lovely house.

Location fantastic. Two bedrooms very clean. Lovely decor. Kitchen clean. Just missing enough cups, glasses for 6 people. But we're only 2 of us so was OK.great though

We liked the location and the decor within the property, it was unique. We liked the additions of board games and leaflets.

The property did need a bit of TLC as in general there was bits of cracked paint on the walls/ceiling, an old smell through the hall and the yard/garden area was overgrown. Even though we did enjoy our stay, the apartment wasn’t the cleanest, we found a newspaper dated in June and general dust on shelves etc. Besides that, it did the job for us and what we needed.

It’s in St Anne’s near all the shops

There is a list but mostly cleanliness. Very dirty. Smelly. Husband was badly bitten by god knows what. Lime scale kettle. Dirty oven. No quilt covers on bedding for sofa bed. Someone’s dirty towels in the laundry basket. NEVER AGAIN!!! I’ve been to St Anne’s since I was a child now nearly 50 years old and it’s got to be the worse.

Apartment needs a good spring clean. Cleanliness of the apartment was unacceptable.
