Dovecote Cotswold Cottages

We booked The Bothy for my partners birthday and it exceeded our expectations and more. Michael was very welcoming and accommodating and provided us with complimentary treats including eggs, juice and a fresh baguette which was a lovely touch. The property itself has everything you need and is extremely comfortable and luxurious. It is decorated so thoughtfully and being situated right by the stables added to the charm. The village itself is very quaint with a fantastic pub The Chequers just a few minute walk away, and is a great location to explore the nearby villages. We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely immaculate little cottage, blends old world country with modernity in such a beautiful way, in a stunning location, and the owner could not have been kinder and more accommodating. Everything from the gorgeous soft towels and luxury toiletries supplied to the little bits provided in the fridge, every little detail was perfect.

I recently stayed at this property and was thoroughly impressed. The home is tastefully furnished to a very high standard, making it both stylish and incredibly comfortable. It was spotless and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location in a charming village surrounded by beautiful scenery made it the perfect retreat. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Beautiful property, all the facilities you could need. The bath was luxurious and the bed very comfortable. A welcome hamper with bread, eggs and wine was provided which was much appreciated. Churchill was an ideal location, close to lots of other villages and attractions. Good pub Chequers Churchill , 5 minutes walk. I highly recommend basing your stay in the Cotswolds here.

The host Michael was very welcoming and explained everything in the property on arrival. The welcome basket with wine, biscuits, a baguette and jams was lovely along with the thoughtful fridge additions of orange juice, eggs and milk was amazing. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We had the most unforgettable stay. Place is beautifully decorated, it is clean and well equipped. The surroundings are glorious. Michael is such an amazing host, from sharing local tips to the delicious supply of food/beverages, he made our stay even more special. We will be back.
