Dovecote Cotswold Cottages

Amazing attention to detail. Comfortable, cosy with all amenities exceeding our expectation. Michael was incredibly hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely aim to return the next time we visit the Cotswolds.

The cottage was just beautiful and you can tell it’s been built, furnished and maintained to a high standard. It is also situated on a farm/stables where we were able to walk around and take a look at the horses. Michael has clearly thought of everything from practicalities to comfort too. We travelled with our almost one year old and were expecting only to have a travel cot as this is generally the standard. However, we had an actual cot made up in the room with a mattress and any parent will know what a difference this makes! Michael also kindly let us check out slightly later due to no change-over which was greatly welcomed. We would not hesitate to come back in the future. Thank you soo much.

A perfect location, brilliant cottage, comfortable and homely. Oh and Michael was a great host!

My fiancé and I came here for a special occasion and we were very impressed with the cottage. it’s brand new, extremely clean and the details and thought that has gone into its design is great. if you’re looking for a Cotswolds trip away this is perfect. it’s in a fantastic location close to all the best villages, and has a lovely farm adjacent with a field that has amazing views. Couldn’t fault it! The host, Michael, stocked up the cottage with fresh supplies, and Cow Shed products in the bathroom. We’ll definitely look to come again! :)

Nothing, but an outdoor heater in the outdoor seating area would be a lovely touch in the Winter months. it’s a great space, so a shame not to use all year round.

The decor and the attention to detail . The host had thought of everything from dressing gowns in the bathroom to the types of teas in the kitchen . There was a welcome pack in the kitchen with bread fresh scones biscuits and milk . So thoughtful.
