Brilliant staff, clean rooms. Huge amount of space - it's essentially an entire cottage and garden, couldn't believe it! And the pub next door is great - lovely food and selection of beers/wines etc

The gate outside is a pain because it opens right onto the door of the cottage The front room is very dark

Excellent..staff in Brown Cow top notch, going out of their way on busy Friday. Cottage very nice, spotless ,food in pub great..several excellent well kept ales....

The cottage was like home from home cozy warm and comfortable.

I'm not very tall and could just about reach the cord for the light in the downstairs toilet.

What a gorgeous cottage this is! From the outside you can’t tell how spacious it is once you get inside. It was so cosy and very quaintly decorated. Felt so homely. The kitchen is huge. We didn’t make use of the amazing old-style oven as the pub was right next door and we ate out both nights. Bedroom 1 is really spacious with a lovely little balcony overlooking the garden area. Bedroom 2 is the smaller bedroom but still spacious enough to fit two single beds in. Beds were very comfy and had a great nights sleep. Despite being right next door to The Brown Cow Inn pub, there was no noise disruption at all.

It was a very minor point but there was only one double socket in the smaller bedroom and it was behind a chest of drawers so I had to move these every time I wanted to plug in my charger, hair dryer etc. Appreciate the layout of the room makes it hard to move the furniture but maybe leave an extension cable plugged in so there is easy access to sockets.
