The annex, Ruthvose

The hosts were very friendly, The accommodation was very clean, warm and fitted out with everything we could possibly need. It’s location, about 13miles South West of Bodmin and in the middle of Cornwall between Newquay and St Austell makes it perfect for days out.

The access road. The last 100yards are a bit bumpy.

Location was perfect for us ( close to friends who live in the area). The apartment was small and comfortable ,ideal for our 3 night stay. Well equipped kitchen , nice shower. Lovely hosts. 10/10.

Myself and my wife are both quite tall and the low ceilings, in the bedroom , caught us out a few times . 😄

Quietness, good colour coordinated modern deco, cosy snd warm.

Tiny bathroom downstairs which is so so so small that one can feel claustrophobic! Essential kitchen utensils are missing which made it difficult to cook properly. We did not really cook anything in the circumstances. No house sign and Google the address directed to ‘elm cottage’ and not the property.I asked for coordinates in advance but that also pointed to a few hundred feet away to a place where we got stuck. It took us a a while to get out. The phone was not answered until owner called back about 1/2 hour later. I think if one arrives in daylight then one can ask around where is ‘the cottage’ but the M5 had some incident and we arrived at 8pm. I strongly recommend a house sign or a sign from the road.

Location was excellent - only 7 minutes to my work experience. Had everything I needed. Lovely fresh flowers during my 3 week stay.

I liked everything

It was a lovely cosy annexe with everything you need at hand. The hosts were absolutely lovely, friendly and welcoming, even douglas the cat☺️. I was made to feel at home from point of arrival and i was shown around the gorgeus garden. Was a lovely, warm family.

Exceptionally clean and cozy.

Move bed more central in bedroom due to sloping roof and a mirror in bedroom. Not a problem, just an idea.
