Ghyll Rigg

Nicely renovated apartment in the centre of town. On site parking was great in such a busy town. The owners were very friendly and had good communication. East access to local activities, shops and restaurants.

There was only a small refrigerator without a freezer compartment.

Location. Shortcuts from apartment to town made it easy. Everything provided in apartment and communication with owner was excellent.

Nothing.

It was so well decorated, comfortable and lovely to spend time in. Very generously equipped. Very convenient to Bowness-on-Windermere shops and the lake.

Nothing really. The flats were unassuming form the outside but inside was lovely

Apartment was a stones throw away from the centre and free parking was provided. Hosts left a high chair for our daughter and travel cot which was a brilliant help for us, apartment was clean and tidy.

Was a little noisy from the restaurant outside but this didn’t affect us at all.

The apartment exceeded our thoughts. Roomy, very clean, all items well thought out. Bonus washing machine & dishwasher. Location easy to walk to shops & attractions. Free carparking

A little difficult to find.

Great location - easy walk to the Lake and shops. Although very central, it was not noisy. Safe (and free!) parking which was just outside the flat. Cosy flat which was very clean and it had everything you could possibly need - great facilities in the kitchen and lots of wardrobe space (with hangers!) in the bedroom. Little touches made the flat very homely and comfortable. Gavin was also very helpful and a great host. We will be back and have already recommended the place to friends.

The apartment had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Can't complain. Location was good right at the middle of Windermere. Hosts were kind enough o take care of all the needs.
