Chestnut Apartment

Location was very good, up steep hill for daily exercise, close to wooded walking hills with fabulous views and close to lakeside. The kitchen was well equipped, likewise the two ensuite bedrooms. Layout of kitchen/dining/living area was compact and conducive to relaxation. Everything about the apartment indicated attention to detail and the enjoyment of guests. This was further confirmed by the demeanour of Nick the host. We were definitely made to feel special and hope to stay here again.

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Location is perfect / in the heart of Bowness.

The hill to the accommodation was very steep, not an issue for us but could cause problems for anyone with mobility issues.

Fabulous property, very clean and had everything we could possibly need. We all felt right at home straight away and the kids loved having use of the big garden too. The extra little touches like tea and coffee and bathroom toiletries were really appreciated for our short stay to save us having to buy or bring these things. Rooms were spacious with plenty of storage and comfy beds and it was clear a lot of thought has gone into furniture and lighting to make everywhere practical and comfortable. Great location for the local shops, restaurants and attractions. Would highly recommend and would love to book a stay here again.

Location is good, gardens will be nice in summer. Parking good. Host was very generous and let us check in early as the apartment was ready Not sure if you could book breakfast at the b&b so made our own Stayed previously and would stay again.

Location, price, value for money.

The sofa was so very low and uncomfortable. It was a strain for me and my mum to get off. It exacerbated our back conditions. Apart from this the apartment was amazing. Xx
