Great location, quiet yet 5 mins to Bowness centre with walks from the door and parking

Very well-situated and comfortable apartment. Host very responsive and had lots of suggestions for walks, restaurants etc.

Cleanliness wasn't 100% but host is aware and is dealing with this.

The apartment is nicely decorated and equipped. Much thought has been put in the minor details making stay there very comfortable. It feels as though the owner furnished the place the way he would if the owner is living there.

Nothing too bad but just a steep slope to climb. Having said so, it’s a good workout!

Great apartment with everything you need, spacious, well equipped, clean and modern. Location also excellent as it's up the hill from the middle of town, with some nice views of Lake Windermere, but still only a 10min walk in via a relatively flat shortcut.

Lovely, spacious, clean apartment. Short walk into the centre of bowness and free parking which was great! Great communication with the owner who provided helpful tips to help us enjoy our stay. Very comfortable beds and smart tv. A selection of DVDs including childrens films which was handy to keep our toddler entertained. Plenty of pots and pans and cutlery/plates etc. Would definitely stay here again!

The 3 steps from the kitchen to the hallway was tricky with our toddler and we were a little nervous. Even with chairs across the top he managed to move them which made it even more dangerous but we managed to teach him how to get down safely by the end of the stay. A baby gate would be really useful for family’s but this wouldn’t suit everyone so we understand. There is also no bath so again not ideal for toddlers and babies but we managed. These are minor points and I would stay here again.
