The Blue Beachcomber

I loved everything! The host Neil was amazing right from first contact. I had some issues with dates and he helped sort it out easily. I’d casually told him that I was coming to celebrate my birthday and lo and behold, there was a happy birthday banner in the lounge area , a birthday card and a chocolate cake waiting for me when I got there! I couldn’t believe it. The caravan was right by the lake and there were comfortable chairs on the patio. Beautiful and peaceful environment and we had everything we needed indoors too. I particularly loved the ensuite toilet in the main bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy. There was even a full size fridge freezer. Even my well travelled son loved the place and wanted to come back. Neil was easily reachable and very helpful. He’d left lots of teabags, coffee and sugar for us, not the two or three sachet you get in other places, but in proper tea caddy just as if you’re at home. Full size gas cooker and a microwave too. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I slept deeply each night. No noise from neighbours. We were close to shops etc and had lovely fish and chips dinner on the first night. I could go on but I’d just say if you’re considering booking this place, book it! It’s beautiful, relaxing, comfortable and the host is very good.

We had great instruction how to find the caravan but it took a while because it didn’t have a number visible from the road. Not a big deal. Loved everything else. It’s amazing

Very clean, very modern caravan. Arrived to find biscuits and all the facilities to make a brew which was a very nice gesture.

Extremely drafty bedrooms, windows need replacing.

Location was good lovely lake would be lovely in the summer

Toilets are not in good position to close to radiator

Bathroom and shower were somewhat cramped, but otherwise everything was excellent.
