Coynant Farm Guesthouse - Farm Park Stay

The ensite shoeer room was adequate .

The water flow from the shower head was pathetic, the track to the property was horendous. I have phoned on at least 6 occassions to get a receipted invoice, all I've received so far is excuses. The bed and bedding looked as if it had been slept in previously and not changed. Totally unprofessional.

I love the serene and calmness of the place. We didn’t get to meet anybody because we arrived late at night but we got to meet horses and donkey and mother sheep and its babies in the morning. We were surprised that somebody left a bag of carrots which we assumed were for the horses and they came to the door when we were holding the carrots. So we got to fed them! I wish I had more time to explore the farm and go down to the river which we saw from afar was quite beautiful. There were 9 of us and we had occupied 4 rooms upstairs. Although it was an old house, each room had attached bathroom except 1 which was just outside the room. It also has complete appliances to enable us to make our own breakfast in our room such as toaster, air fryer, egg maker and fridge. There were raw eggs, fresh milk, orange juice, bread, butter, jam and honey. Having arrived late the night before, we were so hungry that we ate most of them. Glad to experience simple Welsh breakfast in the comfort of our own room.

We had our 80 year old mum and it was difficult for us to climb up the narrow and steep staircase but it was a good experience for everybody else.

After many years of staying at bnb’s this was the best. The host had thought of everything. The room was clean, comfortable and peaceful I actually had an evening meal which was a microwavable cottage pie and was very tasty. I had a self service breakfast which I made myself before I even got dressed. The whole experience was better than I ever experienced. I had all of this for £50. It’s got to be the best value I’ve ever experienced, If only there were more like this.

The accommodation was clean and the location was convenient, but unfortunately our experience was let down by the breakfast offering. The listing clearly advertised breakfast as an included amenity, which was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. However, when we went to have breakfast, we found that several of the items provided — including the jam, milk, cornflakes, marmalade, and juice — were all expired. This was quite disappointing and raised concerns about quality and attention to detail. Breakfast is an important part of the stay for many guests, and having expired food available is not acceptable. We were also travelling with our 3-month-old baby, which made the situation even more difficult. With the nearest grocery store about a 15-minute walk away, it was quite challenging for us to quickly find suitable alternatives. I would strongly recommend that the hosts regularly check and refresh these items to ensure they are safe and enjoyable for guests. Overall, the stay had potential, but this issue significantly impacted our experience.

Room wasn't ready when we arrived despite the fact the earliest you can check-in is 15.00hrs. No parking on premises as advertised. The room could not be locked from the inside. Room was too small for three people and not very clean. Not filthy, but not completely clean either. There is no way to determine if the food provided for breakfast (eggs, bread, milk and juice) is fresh or not as it's already placed in the room's fridge the day of arrival, so one day before it's supposed to be consumed, and is also uncovered.
