Thatched Cottage

Great outdoor space - both the immediate private space and the larger green garden. All super secured and perfect for my dog. The parking area is also dog secured. View outside of the hut is lovely too. The place we got is the smaller hut. Despite the small size it is cosy and very well equipped. I can see the host has put a lot of thoughts into designing the space. Nice location also giving easy access to either side of the South Downs. Also great WiFi despite the rural location!

This is really minor, but the sink is a bit too close to the sitting area (as we were in a very small hut), so one needs to be extra careful to not accidentally spill water onto the soft furniture.

Cosy and beautiful decor, very comfortable and friendly and helpful owner.

Kitchen and dining was small but we ate out most of the time so it was not a problem.

It was a beautiful space, lovely hosts - great amenities and really well sign posted direction wise. just being honest i wasnt expecting an open plan studio and had expected walls - its nothing which impacted our stay, more so feedback, on the properties descriptionn- which was lovely!. i fellt like there is a slight difference between having a open flat which is in a thatched cottage; and a thatched cottage which was similar to a bungalow. regardless thank you!

It was very dog friendly. Are cockerpoo loved just been able to roam outside and it was peace of mind that he couldn’t get out. Although The Shepherds hut is small, it had everything we needed. A very comfortable bed. A nice hot shower. Both the hosts was very friendly.

Nothing not to like

We loved our stay at Thatched Cottage. Cosy, warm, tastefully decorated. Although small it had everything we needed.

The entrance is quite hairy, being just off a busy main road.

It's close to a busy road, so you can hear lorry's, bikes, and cars, but it's easy to forget about them if you focus on how beautiful it is and the wildlife

We would of liked to see more for the wildlife, bird feeders would of added interest, bird boxes, hedgehog boxes. There was a bird bath that was dry, so we filled it with water and we then began to see lots to different birds, some rare.

the accomodation was excellent the dog friendly garden really was perfect for us the hosts were really welcoming and accommodating Just what was needed
