Thatched Cottage annex suited us fine as we had come to see family who were staying nearby.

No instructions on sorting recycling rubbish.

Extremely comfortable and first class facillities. Good advice/leaflets re local attractions.

The property entrance was close to sharp corner and opposite a junction and easily missed if arriving from Pulbrough direction. Probably more to do with rain and arriving at night. Having to stop car between roadside and gate felt unsafe but would not stop me from another visit.

Beautiful bijou shepherd's hut - with real sheep in view. Everything one needs in such a small compact space for a short stay. Alexa was a bonus. Wonderful welcome for my dog Ratty as well.

I found the shower a bit tricky to operate.

Misrepresentation. Says Thatched Cottage, 25 pictures show Thatched Cottage ,Annex but picture 35 shows a Shepherds Hut. The owners set up the profile and details ,their comments were"Booking.dot com" dont have a description for Shepherds hut. Then they should make the right up tell the truth and the shepherds hut the first pictue as its misleading otherwise

Private parking

The annex was so dirty I had to leave after just one night. Dog hair everywhere. Food in the rugs. The floor was so dirty my socks were black after walking around for a hour or so. The fridge was disgusting and covered in dry food. All the cushions/ arms chairs covered in dog hair and mud. There was pieces of confetti everywhere I guess from the previous guests. There was a fan in the room With black thick dust on every blade absolutely disgusting. I was promised a refund for my stay and as of yet I have not received anything. The basically said she would give me my money back if I didn’t write a bad review and she would just put me down as a no show?? I would avoid this place like the plague. How this place got a 9.5 rating is completely beyond me.

Lovely location and the use of the paddock was great. Also the shower was great, the host was available if you needed her.

The tele reception was blocky and the road a bit busy at times, however there is an electronic gate which made it very safe for the dog
