"Real countryside living, home from home, with WiFi!"

8.0

Like a home from home. Relaxed. Comfortable. Everything I could want to entertain the children. It is rough around the edges, but that’s not a negative as such. It was exactly as the host describes, if you are looking for luxury, it’s maybe not the place for you. But it was true rustic countryside living. The WiFi TV in the Wendy house was a great touch. All the kids toys and games. They also loved the animals and the hammock swings! We stayed in the house in the bunk room - the room was tidy and clean, the beds were comfortable. We had use of bathroom and a lovely big bath which was essential after an afternoon playing on the farm! The host was lovely and welcoming. Her daughter was also a delight. Although we were staying in someone’s house, it felt like we had our own privacy and space.

For the price and facilities, I cannot fault it. As said, rough round the edges, some bits could do with some maintenance, but honestly not a problem for us.

"Functional fairy tale setting offered a good overnight stay following a beach day trip."

7.0

The tent was comfortable and clean, spacious enough to stand. The set up is bohemian chic, fairy lights and bric a brac swings, very peaceful and calming. The bar area we loved, great idea and we felt very welcomed there.

The shared facilities (shower/ sink and kitchen prep area) were useful and functional but fairly run down and in need of a bit of attention. When we stayed they were being used extensively by two- three other guests so it was hard not to feel like we were impeding on them for the fridge, grill etc.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We got to know them really well. Made to feel extremely welcome in their home, even accomadated us by letting us keep our milk in their fridge when not in use. Loved the little bar area in the garden, with wine chiller and alexa. Room for parking. Use of the hot tub. Tour of the clamping area and meeting the animals, goats, sheep, and llamas.

Unfortunately not much, I could probably say I slept OK on the air beds

Pulled up to what I would say, looked like a salvage yard, we knew it was located on a farm , but rubbished dumped everywhere , shared fridge between 3 other tents , so not much room, shower was located at the other end of the site to the tent , in what I would call a glass shed, so not used as could see right through if getting dried or changed , arrived following a festival which we made them aware, told it would be lit but had to use the torch on our phones to find our way , toilet was a pop up tent with a hole in the floor, arrived around midnight to 2 dogs at the gate, other guests still up and in their garden area, shed being used as some kind of disco still going on until 2am , but woken up at 5am with someone opening the tent Obviously we were aware it was a tent but thought the facilities would be a bit better
