Gorgeous location, lovely hosts, super comfy bed, felt private inside, loved the fire place, and the animals!!

Just wish there was a cleaning net or cover for the bath as was filled with tree foliage

Log burner as well as electric heater for colder nights, tucked away so you have your own space, very comfortable bed and a great cubby area for the dog to sleep in, shower provided ample hot water and everything worked as it should

We had a lovely stay in the Owl Hoot.

The location is fantastic, and such a great and unique place to stay. Everything you could need is supplied, and there is a couple of pubs and a shop a 10 minute walk down the road that have excellent food.

What was not like? Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights, it was quiet away from traffic or noise. Just Fields with a few horses, sheep and a few wild rabbits. The log fire was amazing definitely kept the place toasty. Also had a heater in there. We met the lovely gentleman once which was to show us the hoot and we were left to our own devices. Would 100% recommend if your after a few nights away to recharge your batteries. I wished it was better weather when we came as the bath outside is lovely. Would definitely come back!

Only thing I didn’t like was the bed pillows were too flat for me but that’s my own personal preference.

Loved it, really peaceful location, 15 minute walk into town for a couple of pubs for a drink and food, and where else would I be able to have a bubble bath under the stars on a clear night?! We just needed a quiet night with no kids or neighbour noise and got exactly that, highly recommended if you want some peace and quiet.

Beautiful setting and great location - a short walk to the local shop and 2 fantastic pubs. The bed was super comfortable, and the facilities all worked as they should. The outdoor bath with sufficient privacy screening was incredible, our favourite part. Pip has the same name as me, so she got 5 stars instantly... jokes aside, she was a great host.

Being a little bit picky, I prefer crisp, white bed, linen and white towels. Could’ve been a little cleaner,

It was an amazing place with fantastic views. Very roomy and heated up really quickly. Bed very comfy. Area really nice and friendly

If I have to put something, then the TV could have been slightly bigger. We only stayed for 1 night and we wished we stayed for 2!
