Beautiful wild farm estate with a wonderful story

Minimal staff meant that it was a little unkept, but nothing that was an inconvenience.

Wine was good

The animals on the property appeared malnourished and poorly cared for. The owner was unpleasant and unwelcoming. The property itself is poorly designed—overly ambitious in scale given the limited staff, resulting in neglect and lack of upkeep. The views are not nearly as picturesque as depicted in the photos. There is no air conditioning, and guests are expected to share a bathroom while staying in an attic space that becomes unbearably hot. Some rooms don’t even have windows. Overall, would recommend other options in the region–there is a lot to choose from. Maybe, come to buy wine

Very nice place and nice hosts, extraordonary experience

We had a wonderful four nights staying at this family winery. The initial tour and tasting was extensive with information and wine and a delicious meal. We especially enjoyed making our own bottles of chacha. Throughout the stay we were able to enjoy the incredible views across the valley to the mountains, with the pigs rustling through the vineyards in the foreground. While you should have a car to get here, note that there are several wineries within easy walking distance that you can join for more amazing home cooked meals and wine tastings.

This home is very much a country home and there are some quirks, notably the water pressure is very temperamental. The quirks are well worth spending time in this space.

Hello, I was so happy to visit your village this time. The reason why I visited this winery is because I saw a Korean who visited in February posted compliments and recommendations about the winery and host. First of all, Elizbar is on holiday, I was bit sad I didn't see you, but I respect you for running a place like this where the village is so cool. I really never regret coming here, and I had such a lovely time. And Svetlana I was so happy to meet you. The meal you made was so delicious, and it was so nice to sing and talk with you. Thank you so much for spending time with me even though I came here alone. But daughter, who was in charge of the winery on my behalf, she didn't explain well the proper wine to me, and she didn't show me the factory because she say no time I’m busy. I was uncomfortable because she kept scolding me for coming alone even though I asked her in advance if the winery was possible when I was going alone before the reservation. And I walked around for a while in the morning and took pictures, and she came to me and suddenly saying that ‘I fixed the water for you, cleaned it for you, and served you wine, and you still have 30 minutes left until your breakfast time’, so I was so embarrassed and I cried because she was so rude and angry at me and told me to wait. I didn't stay here for free, and I don't think there's any reason why she should be angry and rude to me, even though I'm a guest. I think she should be a little more responsible for her work. I loved this village so much that I want to visit again with my friend. That's why I'm writing a honest review. I look forward to seeing Elizbar next time.

The dinner, while a bit late due to what I think was bad communication between booking and the host, was delicious.

- Tip to the host: Limit the options available for food. As you were quite frustrated because we ordered multiple different diches, but we could not know the food was a one man show. The food was delicious, so we would have gladly reduced our amount of different options we picked. - If we arrived the communication and reception wasn't up to standards - but again we think it was a miscommunication between host and booking.
