Ezbar's family made the stay super nice. The views from the rooms are amazing and is a genuine georgian experience. The food they prepared for us was delicious! We loved it. Also the wine testing and dinner they offer + a masterclass to cook a georgian dish - totally worth it

Breakfast was good. Goat speaks English.

Location is very out of the way. No public transport available. Only exorbitant taxis! All areas of the facility were dusty and had cobwebs all over. No space was clean. Water supply was inadequate.

They have a lovely cat that follows you around. The view from the balcony is nice and during the day it’s quiet.

arrival at the property: nobody was there for quite some time , we knocked, called … at last, after quite a while, the son came out with headphones on and told us to come upstairs but the host arrived very late at night so it was pretty much empty the entire day. Food: was okay, surprisingly pricey for the standard it’s at. We had to order hours in advance, settled for 7pm as dinner time, had to wait 50min despite the extremely early notice. Had to clean the wine glass and fork before usage myself. Price includes breakfast which we had to pass on due to early departure, host said he’d put sandwiches in the fridge, simply weren’t there in the morning. BIGGEST ISSUE: the room offered on booking seems to be a trap for guests to book it and then be forced to upgrade to a more expensive one (we were „offered“ the costly upgrade within the first two sentences that we exchanged with the hosts son). The room for 50 GEL has ZERO airflow, the „window“ opens into a closed hallway where every guest passes at night, the door does not close no matter how hard you try, it gets steering hot, you have 0 oxygen, European building standards would call this strictly illegal as it is. Additionally the bathrooms are inhumane. Having travelled most of Georgia including extremely remote villages in the mountains, not a single shared or private bathroom was as carelessly left in its condition as this (see pictures and compare to what’s on booking). The host arrived after 4-5 hours after we got to the property, not greeting us or exchanging a sentence or two. By this time it was already too late to cancel via booking. We asked to leave around 9pm and go to Tbilisi. We were rejected cancellation as it was past their cancellation deadline, 6pm (at which time the host wasn’t even around).

Beautiful winery on perfect location to enjoy Kakheti at its finest

We had a great stay at this local charming winery. The location is beautiful and you get to see all nearby vineyards and the beautiful valley from the place. The owner is a charismatic and welcoming person, he Showed us around the place. We also opted in for a dinner + wine tasting which was well priced and amazing. The food was delicious and we had lots of wine! Breakfast is also provided us very generous.

The bathroom is shared among guests so it can be that there is a queue in the morning if more people are staying over when you are as well.

Powercuts mean you will be in for a cold night.

The owner wasn't there. We had no contact with him. We were "welcomed" by people working in the winery. Although we asked few times, we never got the key to our room. People working in the winery made a party in a common area til midnight, so it was hard for us to fall asleep. We didn't feel safe at all. The common bathroom was dirty with mud. The toilet was broken, it was not possible to flush. The food that we preorderd via booking for the dinner was horrible - extremly fatty chunks of meat. The blankets and sheets were smelly. If it wasn't that late, we wouldn't have stayed there for a night. We left early in the morning and tried to forget about this horrible experiance.
