I think the pictures will talk by themselves but here are some extra insights: Located up on a hill between Nesso and Lezzeno accessible by mono rail or by a little hike . Once you reach the location you will find yourself immerged into a little paradise, with breath taking views, beautiful nature and just this sense of peace all around you. Rooms are good and located in a beautiful rustic house. Service: amazing. I could spend hours talking about the owners, they are just delightful, down to earth, friendly, warm hearted and always ready to help and listening to your needs. Food: there is the possibility to eat there if you book 1 day ahead during the week . Otherwise the restaurant is open during the weekend. The food was amazing, quality, taste, most of the ingredients if not all come from their own production / work and the only way I can find to best describe the food is while eating I felt home and hugged by my mom.

Our stay at Baita La Morena was nothing short of amazing! The place was incredibly clean, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The family taking care of the property treated us like we were part of their own family, making our experience truly special. The food was, without a doubt, the best we had in Italy. Every meal was a delightful experience, bursting with authentic flavors and made with love. I highly recommend buying all the products they produce on their farm – they are simply fantastic and a perfect way to take a piece of this wonderful place home with you. Overall, this was one of the best stays I have ever had, and I cannot wait to return. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for making our trip unforgettable!

The most amazing views, great facilities and the hosts were exceptional, they couldn’t do enough for us. The chalet has everything you need, including a log burner for colder nights. Great location, close to the bus stop to take you into Bellagio or Como. Amazing food in the restaurant too! We already can’t wait to come back!

This property truly is unique! From arriving at the property by monorail to waking up to undisturbed breathtaking views across the lake from from above. I don’t believe we will experience a stay anywhere else just like La Morena. The host was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The bed was not very comfortable. But we can really appreciate how difficult it would be to get a new bed in such a remote spot.

Incredible property with amazing views and the best host, Claudio. The chalet was very cozy, comfortable bed, suitable kitchenette, and perfectly fine bathroom. We took the hiking trail directly from the property into Nesso which turned out to be one of our favorite parts of our trip to Lake Como. It was very rainy when we visited and Claudio offered to cook us lunch one afternoon so we did not have to leave the property. He made us steaks with roast vegetables, and provided salami, cheese, bread and wine at no charge. He was truly the best host, and despite not speaking English we had great conversations using translator apps. He suggested all the best restaurants in Lezzeno. The monorail used to get your luggage to and from is scary but also one of the most memorable moments. We also enjoyed the donkeys on the property as well as regular visits from the very friendly cats.

There is a steep hike to and from the car park. About 5min down and 10min up. The path is well lit at night, and was totally doable even in the rain, but we are young and in decent shape. It makes you feel very good about yourself at night after the 3 course meal and bottle of wine :)
