Wolverfontein Karoo Cottages

The location was superb. We had an unobstructive view of the Karoo veld. Opposite the establishment, is a nature reserve, stocked with many antelope, giraffe, etc. This is a haven for hikers. We covered about 26 km on roads and tracks in 2 days - open, clean, safe, beautiful. A mere 20km away is a warm water spring resort and we had a lovely time there as well. The free firewood was a lovely touch. A braai and then the kaggel - superb. The furniture was great and a well appointed D'waenhuis. Ashley, host, was a real treat.

We only had 3 days - I could stay a month

We LOVED our stay at ZARA cottage. The decor is AMAZING and super comfortable. Lesley is a 5 star host. We loved the 2 x verandahs, the walks, the pool and fire in the kitchen. WE WILL BE BACK for MORE.

André and Ashley are amazing hosts. They went beyond expectations to assist us. The private pool was a winner! PS: we miss the morning visits of your 4 legged children so much x

I can however recommend puffy pillows for the beds

Die Ruhe. Das Gefühl ganz alleine zu sein. Der Sternenhimmel. Das sehr süsse Cottage. Die netten Besitzer. Die lieben Hunde. Lagerfeuer und Braai draussen. Insgesamt die Atmosphäre.

Dass wir wieder fahren mussten. (Leute die Gesellschaft suchen sind hier falsch. Es gibt nichts drumherum)

A fantastic place to get away and relax. The location is stunning and the hosts superb. This is visiting the real bush of the Little Karoo

Nothing to dislike - but remember it is in the bush so not all mod-cons are available (which in this case is a plus!!)

Tolles rustikales Haus in der Klein Karoo. Man hat total seine Ruhe, wir konnten echt entspannen. Direkt nebenan ist ein Reservat, in das wir fahren konnten (kostenlos). Die Besitzer sind sehr nett. Ashley war schon im Vorfeld immer mit uns im Austausch und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Sehr herzliche Menschen. Volle Empfehlung!
