Wolverfontein Karoo Cottages

The cottage is beautifully decorated in true Karoo fashion that does it's name of d'Waenhuis justice. You can see the attention to detail. There was a lovely fireplace in the open plan lounge/dining/kitchen and a free crate of firewood was supplied every night. A gas heater was in the bedroom with goose down duvet and warm blankets. It was the perfect mid-winter getaway. I can't wait to return in summer to experience the private plunge pool. The wifi was excellent for the remote location and there is even a work desk in the bedroom which would make longer working getaways ideal. Can't wait to return.

Incredible setting with expansive views and lovely hosts. A great option when you are looking for somewhere peaceful to switch off.

Peace and quiet in a picturesque setting with rustic accomodation - relax or walk or use as a base to visit the Karoo - even work if you have to with the great WiFi!

An amazing gem where I could rest, enjoy nature and just take just take a break! I could also work from there which was an added bonus!
