Mooi uitzicht, mooie natuur, lekker stil

Alles zeer verouderd, douche vuil. 30 min rijden op stenen en zand. Zeer slechte weg.

"Very comfortable stay in beautiful, natural surroundings"

Gecko Rock is a wonderful place - the cabins are comfortable, well stocked and very luxurious for being so remote: The hot water and electricity works perfectly and the rooms are well furnished. We booked all three houses for our family of 15 guests and really loved it. The cabins are near enough to quickly drive or walk (15’) over but not so close that the feeling of being remote would fall away. We loved our stay here and would have liked to stay even longer!!

I honestly cannot think of anything.

Neat and clean

The advert indicated that the cabin has a hot tub. There was no hot tub at the cabin. No mobile signal. Had to drive 78km to Montagu to buy drinking water. The shop at the establishment could at least stock basic necessities as borehole water is used which is not recommended for drinking.

"Aventure hors norme"

L’isolement en pleine nature. La tranquillité et la vue exceptionnelle. Si vous voulez être totalement seuls, choisissez les chalets avec jacuzzi. La piste d’accès et l’absence de réseau sont un passage un peu stressant par crainte d’une avarie mais cela fait partie de expérience.

"Peaceful Karoo stay"

Peaceful location, well equipped kitchen, comfortable, good shower pressure.

The ants around the braai. Part of the patio could be open to the sky for star gazing.
