"Nice but far away."

The cabindoor did not close, not really safe when you are sleeping or not around. Its also a 30/40 min ride from the entry gate to the cabin. Place is in the middle of nowhere and we liked that, nice sunrise and walking area's.

We absolutely loved our weekend at Gecho Rock. The unit was spacious. (we were 3 instead of 6), with a stunning view, and beautiful deck to sit outside. The unit was well equipt with all kitchenware for a comfy stay. On out first day we went for a 4 hour hike with our dog. The hiking trials are well maintained, and good level for beginners or groups of mixed fitness.

The swimming pool was closed, which was a pity.

"An incredible and magical getaway into complete solitude"

We stayed at the Rheeboksvlakte cabin and its location is simply stunning. Whilst the cabin is fairly basic, it has absolutely everything that you need, including an exceptionally comfortable mattress! For two days we saw nothing other than plenty of wild animals and the stunning views down the valley.

The water pump and/or solar inverter does make a small noise when it fires up - but you soon get used to it.
