Quinta dos 10

Would highly recommend! The breakfast was delicious. We loved the setting of the pool and the hot tub, a really peaceful place, and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves. The grounds of the property are beautiful with so many hydrangeas.

The villa is located in the most incredible of settings. The view from the beautiful pool and hot tub area, includes a view of the mountains, as well as glimpses of Ponta Delgado and the ocean. But the loveliest part of the property, is the orange groves brimming with beautiful flowers, which guests are free to wander and enjoy. The villa itself, offered all the amenities a guest could want, and offered ample space for our family. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. Our host Anna, was so sweet and helpful. The homemade cakes she periodically left on the dining table, were a welcome surprise at the end of a day of sightseeing. The villa was perfectly located as a base to explore San Miguel and was very close to Ponta Delgada. But once you were back at the villa, it was an oasis of calm and tranquillity. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for relaxing and soaking tired muscles after a day of exploring the island. Thank you so much, Anna and Antonio, for welcoming us, and sharing your piece of paradise with us!

The only complaint would be that the villa had a moldy or musty odor, which may be due to the age of the building or humidity. Opening the doors or putting the air on helped, but it might bother someone with allergies.

We loved the location of the property, and how quiet it was! Very short drive into town.

We had a great stay at Quinta dos 10. The place was spotless, nicely decorated, and felt really cozy. It’s in a quiet area, yet still close to Ponta Delgada, which was super convenient. Ana was very friendly and always available when we had questions. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back.

Beautiful views and comfortable lodgings at Quinta dos 10. We were welcomed from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed making food in the kitchen, swimming in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect base for us to come back to after exploring Sao Miguel.

Everything about Quinta dos 10 is sheer perfection—10 out of 10 without question! The design is fresh and stylish, with practical touches that are both functional and beautiful. The location is superb, offering stunning views and even a green parking area. Modern convenience abounds: you can open the gates and doors directly from your smartphone. Ana, the host, is an absolute gem. We arrived late on Christmas Eve, and while the city was closed tight the next morning, Ana had thoughtfully stocked the villa with eggs, cheese, and other essentials. She even went above and beyond to return some items we forgot in the closet by delivering them to the reception of our next hotel. Outstanding hospitality!

It’s impossible to fault anything about this place—it’s genuinely flawless.

the villa was beautiful, pool and hot tub were as described. The hostess was lovely, offered us breakfast at the property down the road- absolutely delicious. The villa was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked- all modern facilities.

only downside is the ac didn't reach the far bedroom as well as I had hoped.
