The Farmstead

Lovely property with amazing views!

Complicated instructions and getting there was a bit of a challenge the first day. Would not recommend arriving after sundown.

The most beautful place and setting - the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning, as is the accommodation itself. Beautiful touches such as a loaf of bread and eggs waiting for you on arrival, and I absolutely loved the outdoor shower and bath. So relaxing and peaceful, I just wish I could have stayed longer!

These are not negatives as such, just things to note. The directions could be better - the gate to the farm is marked with a sign for The Farmstead and Google/ Apple Maps will take you there. However, when you do follow the road in, there is small river to cross - the path underneath is slightly raised and it's not deep, so we easily made it over in a small car, but it's something to be aware of. It was quite an adventure!

The directions was not great and we passed the property as we did not see the board. river crossing was not that great and wouldn’t recommended that you cross at night

Just the most beautiful and tranquil setting. The rooms were amazing especially the outdoor showers.

For such a family friendly place it would have been great to have a high chair available

It was a great property, everything we needed was there!

Although there is a shared pool, there wasn’t much contact between the people staying at the Farmstead. We missed some kind of farm store, where you can buy bread and stuff, since the location is not close to a town.
