Loads of space. Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff. Pretty much everything you need (household items etc.)

The bathroom basins were a little rusty and needed attention. Definitely bring along mozzie spray and stuff for insect bites. The season brought them out in great numbers :(

It was clean, very spacious, light flooded warm and super friendly and caring staff! Comfortable bedding, clean and the extra outdoor bathroom to have the possibility to shower under the sky, just special!

The location and views were absolutely beautiful.

It’s a working farm so there were loads of flies. It was unpleasant to sit on the patio for a meal. I think you should consider installing screens on the doors/windows so that guests can have the windows open (especially in summer) so that the flies can be kept at bay. Also consider fly candles for the unit to be used when dining. We were a group of four. My husband and I from SA and my godparents from Switzerland. I was the only one who had hot water on the first evening. For the rest of the time the water was cold. The WiFi was non existent. We chatted to the staff who were very polite but they were unable to resolve the issues. The kitchen utensils need to be checked and replaced. We had broken or missing kitchen utensils.

Pool could have been cleaned a bit more, was quite cloudy and dirty certain days.

Set on a farm a little out of town this was an incredible place to recharge over Christmas. Staff were incredibly attentive. Great swimming pool to cool off in and easy access to town (+- 15kms away). The layout, decor and general feel is very farm like with nothing out of place. Loungers, fireplaces, hammock, candals and latterns. Beautilful gardens/fields to go for a walk. Increible coffee and linen stood out for us.

The hotwater is great but inconsistent.

Loved the remote location, the farm animals and just the tranquility out there!

I know it was very well communicated that the walls are very thin, but they are VERY thin. We could hear everything our neighbors were doing which was sometimes a bit tough early in the morning when their kids were up. Also, we didn’t have any hot water during the three days of our stay - it was communicated that we should let the water run, but after 10 minutes of letting it run we felt bad about waiting longer for hot water to come.

Everything, especially how quiet and peaceful it was. The fresh bread, butter and eggs were a wonderful and unexpected surprise!

Not easy to find, we arrived in the evening and signage to get there and even within the farm not easy.
