Good value, peaceful, meals available if wanted.

Entrance off N3 a bit tricky due to signposting and traffic volumes. Staff at reception did not know which room we were in. To be fair I did get a message telling me which room but I had not had the opportunity to read it before arrival.

"Peaceful, simple and just what the doctor ordered after days on the road!"

Although it's fairly close to the N3 - the property has a feeling of seclusion and privacy I was not expecting. It was a beautiful spot with the necessary facilities that we really enjoyed! Had there not been a thunderstorm (which was amazing in any case) we probably wouldve had a fire going outside just to enjoy watching and listening to the guinea fowl and the cattle close by!.

Not something I didnt like per se, just that the storm cut out the signal overnight and there was no wifi at the property. We were in Aloe Cottage, but my understanding is that the other cottages do have wifi. Not that this was a major problem, because we were aslee by 8pm anyway!
