The setting is truly breathtaking, offering tranquility, beautiful scenery, and stunning sunsets every evening. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful, picturesque getaway.

We couldn’t stay long enough to enjoy the braai area and the clear view of the night skies to admire the stars.

A Perfect Secluded Getaway Near Oudtshoorn We had a fantastic family stay at Kandelaars Cottage! Just a 10-minute drive from Oudtshoorn, it feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing retreat. But close enough to the many restaurants and activities oudtshoorn and calitzdorp have to offer. Just be mindful of the traffic officers, we saw numerous roadblocks in various locations during our stay. The cottage was spotless, very comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. One of the highlights was enjoying the stunning sunset views from the patio each evening — absolutely breathtaking. We were warmly welcomed with freshly baked bread and a bottle of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you're looking for tranquility, comfort, and beautiful views, we highly recommend Kandelaars Cottage!

Everything was great👌 Maybe just some cupboard space or shelves in the rooms. Lovely place though!!
