Really friendly hosts

What a fabulous place to stay - especially with animal loving youngsters. The room was comfortable with everything you’d need for a short stay and everyone there was welcoming and took the time to show my granddaughters the animals. Thank you!

The hosts were very welcoming, and the room was extremely comfortable with en suite bathroom, breakfast bar, microwave, fridge, television, and tea and coffee making facilities. A bonus was a chance to be introduced to the farm's resident donkeys and alpaca in the morning. A great stay in peaceful surroundings, fabulous owners, and exceptional value. Thank you Trish and Jon.

Light coming in from the skylight woke me up in the morning at sunrise

Self-contained bedroom and en-suite. Well equipped with everything I needed to eat in after a long journey. Fresh milk in the fridge was much appreciated! Quiet location, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Hosts were lovely and very helpful.

The location was stunning, not far from everything you need. Staff were very friendly, welcoming. They also let my grandson (5yrs) go around the farm to see and meet the animals, had lots of photos taken..even on the big tractor. Definitely recommend this place, absolutely fantastic will stay there again for sure. Thank you for a brilliant stay.

Outside Newcastle but close enough to Wallsend where we needed to go the next day. Lovely and quite. We were in a campervan and it was a super safe place to park up. Ideal if you are a worker with a van full of tools. The host Jon gave us a tour of the stables and introduced us to all the horses but most importantly the two donkeys. Now who doesn't love a donkey called Jenny?!! We didn't get there until late and the hosts were unfazed which was really nice after a long drive north. They made us very welcome. Water and fresh milk in the fridge as well as tea, coffee and biscuits.

If I had time put something it would be the private road to the farm. Not at all forgiving on our suspension. Jon did explain that he usually keeps it in better nick but the recent relentless rain had made it worse.

The property was very nice and very cosy

Great location to Whitley Bay under 10mins drive, well organised with information on accessing site and a friendly welcome. The room is a great size, well equipped with a fridge (milk and water) and a microwave. Bonus is getting to meet the animals on site also I would recommend for solo travellers, relaxed vibes in the countryside. We will be going back, thanks
