Snowberry Cottage at Lochsloy Farm Little River

Beautiful property! More stunning than the photos. I appreciated feeding the sheep and having access to a washer. She also sells yarn from her sheep if you are crafty.

This was in the description, but I would prefer sleeping on a bed that is not lofted. I add this mainly for people with mobility needs. The kitchen was a bit lackluster. It was missing a traditional 2 burner hot plate and I personally struggled a bit to cook with the provided appliances.

This was the perfect place for my last stop before heading to Christchurch. A cozy little cottage with beautiful views and surroundings, on a remote sheep farm. It had everything I needed. The hosts were very welcoming. Really enjoyed the sunset in the evening and listening to all the birds for one last time.

Spectacular location and views

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage. The hosts were absolutely wonderful-so friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed or recommend things to do in the area. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. The sheep wandering around the grounds were absolutely adorable and added so much charm to the place. It was peaceful, relaxing, and full of character. We’d happily stay here again!
