Snowberry Cottage at Lochsloy Farm Little River

It was a small but lovely cottage. It had everything i needed, perfect for a night. And the cute cat from the hosts stayed the whole night with me :)

Great place in the country for a short stay.

Easy to find. A beautiful location, with views over the lake. If you aren't small in height be careful of banging your head as part of downstairs is very low. Clambering into bed could also be a problem. The house didn't appear to be checked before we arrived ( no milk, only 1mug, 1glass, loo roll ended.) Towels very scratchy. Hardly any internet. Modem light turned on and off all night. $160 was not value.

Bit on the small side, limited headroom in places, steep steps to bed

The location was stunning, the views fantastic, the host lovely and very helpful.

The bed is a loft bed and this is not mentioned in the Booking.com description. It says that access is via stairs only, which is quite normal where stairs means staircase, and the photos do hint at its location but it's not fully apparent. For most people this would not be a problem, indeed a plus, but for an older couple in their 60s, requiring several trips to the toilet during the night, it meant having to negotiate over each other and then down the steep steps. Had we but known we would not have stayed, but we did love every other aspect about the place.

Amazing stay with a great host. Loved to have the cottage a bit out of the way of the main road and had a great night's sleep. We were able to feed the sheep as well as getting a load of information about little river. Ans the cottage is well equipped with everything we needed.

the bathroom sink is not to that big, but was otherwise fine.
