"Great location. Isolation, but still with all the facilities."

Comfortable and quiet location to focus on relaxing, with spectacular views. All modern facilities provided in a small package. Literally sitting next to a paddock with sheep and lambs for company - and one of the largest cats I have ever seen. Friendly owners and lots of information about the local area provided re history and local sights and cafes. Heater on when I got there to take the bite out of the cold day. Much appreciated.

If you are tall (I'm 6'4") mind your head on the bunk bed frame, and the varying floor levels at night. All manageable stuff if you are aware of them.

Quiet, serene location. Cute funky cottage with loft sleeping area, easy to manage stairs to the loft. Resident cat made herself comfortable. :) Got to feed the sheep by hand. Very engaging and welcoming hosts.

40 min drive to Akaroa.
