"Character property in beautiful river valley."

A character stay - 1904 shearer’s quarters on a farm in the beautiful Kowhatau river valley. Great value, awesome hospitality, but mostly a fantastic location for a weekend away from it all.

We loved our stay and would gladly stay again. Be prepared for no shower (bath only). Put your tech away for the weekend (though there is mobile signal if you need it).

"An absolutely charming place amongst farmland"

We loved this accommodation - staying on a working farm, all the farm animals - the warm welcome - the bases of fresh flowers - the views - the quiet starlit night - the cute hut we slept in - privacy, and super clean!

We liked and enjoyed everything!

Loved the location, history of the farm & the shearers quarters. Really clean and enjoyed the old Shacklock oven.

The bed could be a bit more comfortable.
