"Magical and memorable mountain experience!"

We stayed at Die Kilphuis and it was amazing! This was one of the most unique locations we’ve been to. Although you’re literally in the mountain, the cabin has everything you need. The wood-fired hot tub was a definite highlight and the staff were friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend Desert Wind if you’re looking for a memorable and magical mountain experience!

"No words. The entire stay was bliss"

The entire stay was amazing. We actually had no words when we arrived. The entire weekend was filled with so much love from the owners, Colette and husband, they gifted us champagne as we were going to drive out to Montague, but then didnt need to because they were exceptionally kind. The skies and hot tub is extremely underexaggerated. It is mind blowing!! Waking up to peace and quiet, and the sounds of animals, is the very best

Nothing at all. Everything was just perfect. We have started planning our next trip, along with the kids back to Desert Wind Private guest and game farm.

Just everything, the drive to the accomodation, the location, the tranquility, the service from Alicia and her husband and just the beauty of the mountains in the background.

Nothing, everything was just perfect. We would really love to visit again
