Nubian Farm Aswan

Everything there is amazing, you will love it!

I’m very fond of animals and I like a dog in the house, so being greeted by a friendly dog in the morning sets me up for the day. The food was delicious and the host more than helpful. We loved the walk into the desert directly behind the hotel.

The nature here is stunning, the family are so wonderful and friendly, organising our tours, helping us with everything we needed. Anything you need, you can just ask them and they will help you to feel comfortable and at home. Also fresh goat milk with our tea in the morning, so good!

Something to hang clothes or a side table in the room might be nice

I love waking up to the sunrise over the Nile and the beauty of Aswan. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. Plenty to see and do, and they will help you with anything you would like to see. I felt safe and had a family vibe, I will be back Nubian Farms is in my heart.

We had a wonderful stay at Nubian Farm. We arrived in Aswan really late at night and they still arranged to ferry us across the river and gave us a delicious lemon drink on arrival. The place is colourful and peaceful, and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Mahmoud was very helpful, spoke excellent English and organised a small day trip to the Nubian Village, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens for us.

We didn’t love seeing the crocodiles in the small cage.

Nubian Farm was a fantastic experience. I went to Nubian Farm in Aswan directly after Cairo and it was such a nice change of pace from the busy city and crowded hotels there. Nubian farm was so peaceful and low-key. I was worried that being on the other side of the river would make it difficult to get to get to the areas of Aswan I wanted to see. The staff of Nubian Farm made sure I was able to get to everything I wanted. They were available whenever I needed to give me direction, provide a boat and even booked me a train ticket to get to my next destination. Staying on this side of the river was magical and allowed me to relax and calm my mind before the next destination. The rooms were unique, and the staff were so kind and helpful. It was nice to be surrounded by animals, I was very comforted by the two dogs that roamed about the property and discovered the desert just behind the Inn to provide a nice walk. Food was provided whenever I was hungry. I ended up forgetting something important to me after leaving and the staff was extremely responsive and helpful and coordinating its return to me. I am extremely grateful and would recommend this stay to anyone staying in Aswan! It was a unique and pleasant experience.
