Lovely welcoming staff. Quiet .

Staff were lovely and very helpful. The onsite cafe was very nice, good food and great staff. We had adjoining rooms, Hayloft and Parlour, loved the fact we could just pop upstairs to see the rest of our family. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the shower was great. Great location for visiting Chester and the zoo.

Not the fault of the property but it was quite noisy being near a main road.

Very near to everything . Simple but had everything we needed

On the Saturday night someone had used parking spot 3 , which should be for us and they stayed in it for the rest of our time which was more inconvenient than annoying really, but it's a small point

Blind would be helpful as it's far too bright in the room from sunrise. Shampoo etc in shower too high on wall causing it to squirt directly on face when used. Ultracomplicated main door lock with no instructions.

Easy access. Appreciated a fridge in the room.
