Oakwood Farm Mews Chester

Excellent location, beautiful rooms with a huge bed 🤣a great cafe on the grounds which is open from 6 to 2. Had a look around, there were great hard standings if you had a caravan or motor home with showers toilets and washing facilities. The owner of the complex was very nice and helpful and even showed me a newly decorated accommodation in the news. I would highly recommend this site.

Nothing to dislike

The bed is comefortable and the oom is fine, however for £95 a night I would expect a clean bathroom.

The shower was very dirty which is unacceptable.

Stayed at Oakwood for one night as it was close to a hotel where we were attending a wedding. We were created by a very friendly lady who took us to our room. The room was clean and tidy, with everything we needed for a basic stay. The bathroom was particularly nice and the shower was lovely and warm.

To enhance the rooms, additional lighting would help. At the moment, it's either all the lights on, or all the lights off, with no bedside lighting. Lighting at the desk/mirror would help the ladies with their makeup routine. My wife found it quite difficult to as there's not much natural light coming in through the small window and the mirror is in the corner of the room so the lights don't reach there.

It's very easy to get to, clean, quiet, and peaceful.

I only stayed one night. I wish I could have stayed longer.😊

Easy to find, lots of parking, took a little while to find the reception but once I did the staff were lovely/friendly and there was an even friendlier dog! Lots of parking for the mews right outside the accommodation. Room was bigger than expected, lovely high ceilings with the original beams. Bed was bigger than advertised, we had 2 singles beds together which made it more of a large double/king. Room was clean and had all we needed for 1 night visiting family. Love how dog friendly it was. We would def book again!
