We stayed 2 nights in fisherman’s hut “Carp” and can honestly say it was perfect. Mark and Geraldine were amazing hosts and had thought of everything. The hut was spotlessly clean, cosy and peaceful and the location on the lake idyllic.

What I loved most was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. The Shepherd’s hut was spotless, really well equipped, and felt so cosy, yet just outside the door were the most stunning surroundings – a peaceful fishing lake, fresh country air, and complete tranquility. It’s rare to find somewhere so clean and comfortable that also feels completely in tune with nature.

What did I like? Well we didn't like we absolutely loved every single minute what a little gem .I felt so relaxed we was literally so chilled.Our dog loved it too.The views took our breath away and if u want nature at its finest this is the place.Deffo be back

To me wasn't anything maybe just more comfortable chairs on our terrace.Because view of that lake was breathtaking and u honestly don't want to leave it.So maybe bit more comfy chairs

The location was perfect for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. The ‘Carp’ hut was clean, equipped with everything we could need. The bed was very cosy and comfortable we slept well. Mark and Geraldine the owners were friendly, kind and nothing was too much trouble. The hot rolls/croissants were really yummy brought to the hut at a convenient time to us. It was a treat to see so much wildlife from our balcony. My partner enjoyed the fishing from the peg just a few steps away from the hut close enough for me to take him cups of tea/coffee etc!!! He caught many carp, they were very healthy fish. The WiFi connection was good considering the location. We could order takeaway food for delivery. We will definitely be going back soon.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about the property, it was just a fair distance to walk to the shower/toilet hut. We could have chosen an en-suite hut but the location of these huts were further from the lower lake with its own fishing peg and a balcony overlooking the lake.
