Inturotel Esmeralda Park

The property is beautiful. A stunning setting. Facilities are all very nice and proximity to beach and lots of restaurants was great. The staff in the mini and maxi club were great, very welcoming. The evening entertainment was a big hit. My kids loved this part.

The whole stay felt like an exercise to extract more money from you. I have never, ever stayed in a hotel before where, as a paying guest, you are not entitled to use the slides. However, I had made my peace with this prior to arriving. I knew I was only going to gain access to DragoLand for one day (not because that was made clear to me but because a friend who stayed there recently had told me). However, when I went to the front desk to "book" my entry, I was told that because I booked through booking.com I was not entitled to a free pass. Despite having paid nearly €2000 for 5 nights, I was not allowed to use the slides?! I beg you- reconsider this nonsense! This alone would be why I would not return to this hotel. The next points irked me but I thought this was absolutely ridiculous and unabashed extortion. The dash for the sun beds in the morning is more akin to something from the hunger games. Utter bedlam. The rules in the pool are far too restrictive. Why go to the bother of having an adults only pool only to prohibit any fun in the kids pool? The lifeguard told a grandfather and his 18 month old grandson they were allowed pass a ball back and forth between them? What this hotel seemed to have no appreciation for was that we (and presumably lots of people there) have been looking forward to this holiday since our summer holiday last year. We have had an extremely wet winter in Ireland and all we and our kids wanted to do was to enjoy the facilities without feeling like we were in school. Also, for god sakes don't charge for an iron. I have paid you more than enough for the use of a bloody iron!

Fantastische locatie, aan zee en je loopt zo Cala D'or in. Mooie nieuwe zwembaden en een Adult Only deel. Fijn appartement, eigenlijk is alles nog vrij nieuw. De schoonmaak, ook het terrein is echt top!

De gebouwen zijn wat gehorig, dus je kan wat meubels horen verschuiven of kleine kinderen. Maar niet storend.
