De Luxe Aparthotel

Great location near to the train station and city centre. Excellent value for money, cost was cheaper than most other options nearby but would've expected a quiet and clean room from any hotel or apartment, which this wasn't.

Blinds were broken and didn't cover all of the window. Desk chair was broken and not able to be sat on. The bed fitted sheet was the wrong size so barely covered the mattress. The duvet had a stain on it and there was an old orange peel on the floor. The room was next to the communal kitchen where we could hear everything and someone put on the washing machine at 7am on a Sunday morning, so we had to get up then. Room was cold, the radiator didn't heat up adequately.

The place wasn't easy to find, but i liked it.

Some pillow case were dirty.

The location

Room 4 The bathroom was not very clean, the shower cubicle was dirty & rusty. Bathroom smelled of stale cigarette smoke, we were told that we would be charged £50 if we were caught smoking! The mattress was very saggy, it was a double mattress on a king size bedstead, slats were broken & didn't fit into anything. Bottom sheet didn't fit the mattress & the sheets were not ironed, pillows were flat. Blinds were broken & slats missing. Window didn't close properly & were filthy inside. The chest of drawers were stained on top. Join in flooring was held together with silver tape. Room 3 Bathroom shower tray was dirty & rusty. Pillows were flat & sheets were unironed. We closed the door firmly when we went out & when we came back the door was Unlocked.

The window was open and the heating was off so the room was freezing. The bed was hard and could of done with extra pillow as requested. Blanket would have been a great addition as the room was freezing. Alot of breeze came from the windows maybe reseal them. There was alot of activity outside the apartment I didn't feel it was the safest location. But I did enjoy the stay and the bathroom was lovely x place was really clean and it was to my expectation. We found parking 4 min walk from the apartment and it was free till 7 am which was great. Staff was friendly online and quick to respond. I would stay there again just would have been nice to not be so cold and noisy the bed was quite firm. But everything was so clean. Thank you for having us.
