Sarnia holiday flats

Comfy beds, helpful staff, very close to promenade, 20 mins walking to winter gardens, fish and chips around the corner

Electric heating was only in living room and one bedroom. It hard to find any sockets in all flat. One bedroom and bathroom without heating. To go to the bathroom, it needs to go outside the flat,through the staircase ,a few steps lower 🫣. If you are staying over there, take some coins to top up electricity. No towels,unless you pay. The flat is on the 3rd floor, no lift. No rubbish bin in all flat so be prepared to take bin bags with you.

Host and Manager could not of been more welcoming, fantastic, hassle free and clean self catering accommodation. In central location just off the promenade a stones throw away from all Blackpool's attractions. Felt like home from home, will definitely be booking again 5 stars from us

Nothing everything was great

Nothing to like except the location.

The first thing you meet walking in the door was the stench of cigarette smoke. The flat was dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The bed covers were stained. The oven was dirty. The toilet wall had, what looked like faeces on it. The bedside drawers and the storage bin in the toilet, with toilet roll in, were full of bits. The door bars were sticking up. Overall, it was all dirty. You had to pay for your electricity via a meter. For 2 days, and we were out a lot, it cost us £16. The owner was unpleasant and accused us of smoking weed in the room. I was totally offended and told him I could smell smoke everywhere. He said the 4 other flats were occupied by tenants and they could do what they liked. I booked this as the previous reviews were good. I would be so sure he has got his friends to write them as this place is a total dump. We moved out and into a hotel for the rest of our stay.

We loved the feeling like being at home, with the bedrooms and living room with kitchen facilities, with a microwave and cooker. The fact that we could cook, keep food fresh in the refrigerator. The living room was spacious with good furnishings. The top floor view was really nice. The beds were very comfortable, with nice wall decor of pictures etc. The bathroom was nice with room to move in the shower area. Plenty of cutlery, plates and bowls to eat with. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The shower water flow was not great at times. Some black mould around floor edges at the base of the shower area. Room 7 is very good, but at the top of the building, so best to ask if you can, to which room you are booking if you have difficulty climbing many flights of stairs.
