The cottage was rustic. We loved that, since we specifically sought to stay in a variety of accommodation during our road trip. The surroundings were lovely and the hosts super friendly. We also loved the fact that we could put off all the lights and see a sky full of stars at night.

The beds in the 2nd bedroom were really small for an adult to sleep on. It's quite a way off the beaten track - but I guess that adds to its appeal, so both a plus and a negative.
