Puu Koa Palms vacation rental

Everything! The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable, and were readily available. We wanted to see all areas of the island and the location was the most central for this purpose. It was reasonable cost, clean and ample space with easy parking. I would definitely stay there again if I returned to Maui.

Very good amenities and well equipped kitchen! Calm neighborhood and good location to start the drive to the road to Hana. Beach chairs etc. to borrow for the beach.

Internet was too slow. Cooking was an hassle There was no aircondition.

Good location to go to go see the turtles on the beach or for the road to Hana

It was so hot in that place that even the fans can’t cope. There is definitely a need to have AC in there as otherwise it’s very hard to sleep, even with the windows open

Good cooking facilities, comfortable layout and large bathroom. Quiet area not too far from Paia.

Lack of A/C was an issue as I prefer to sleep in a cooler environment. Pillows not very comfortable.

The location was awesome, very private and safe. Great communication via email with the owner / caretaker. Apartment was fully stocked with kitchenware, cooking ingredients and paper towel.

All the clean towels had a bad odor, mildew-like, which left a stinky-sticky feeling on my body. The liquid body soap dispenser didn't work well...little to no soap came out. The shower curtain rod was placed above the border of the shower floor, we eventually moved the curtain rod lower to prevent the floor from getting wet.

Front door did not work. No air conditioning when the room was so hot at mid-day. Wash basin in bathroom was clogged. Toilet had leaking water valve. Bed was too soft.

Room was clean and had a wonderful kitchen.

We got a studio downstairs and it was fantastic. The apartment was very clean and well equipped to cook a quick meal after coming back from a long day out. Nothing was missing in kitchen and bathroom, you don’t really need to bring anything with you if you do not want. The location is good, close to few beaches and to several restaurants and shop, half an hour driving from the airport. The parking space is nice and is very needed. I would for sure come back here.

Is not related to the place itself but is a general “issue” in Maui. There are many feral chickens who make a lot of noise in the early morning. If people are sensitive to noise they may consider to bring some ear protections.

The apartment was amazing! Clean, with big spaces, comfortable. There are different kitchen and beach utensils useful for your stay. Moreover, I want to highlight the free parking area and the great position that allows you to easily visit Maui. A particular mention for Stefano, who was a really nice host!!
