Puu Koa Palms vacation rental

Not far from the village, a very nice calm and quiet location. We enjoyed our stay here for sure! Sweet owner :)

It was roomy and had a kitchenette.

It was very hot in the room. It needed air conditioning.

Pleasant breeze across the unit when both windows are open. Nice balcony and assortment of cooking equipment. Laundry on site was very useful and worked well. Stefano was great about checking in and making sure everything was working as expected.

No air conditioning, so it was hot during the day. The unit seemed to be clean, and visually looked clean, but the bathroom had a very strange unpleasant odor that seemed to be coming up from the floor. The smell might have been mildew or fungal and was overpowering for both me and my husband. There's mildew on the bathroom window and shower, probably because there's no fan inside the bathroom so it's humid. Location is a bit far from town.

Perfect location if going to Road to Hana and the apartment is very specious

Not so muah sound prof You hear the noise from upstairs. The back yard is a nice view but full of spider webs.

black mold in bathroom ceiling and smelled moldy in bathroom, lighting on back pathway was not well lit (light in planter never came on), other occupants leaving early (before 8 am) and making excessive noise (slamming doors, dragging suitcases down the stairs). Ran out of hot water with every shower. bathroom sinks have the hot and cold on opposite sides

Everything! The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable, and were readily available. We wanted to see all areas of the island and the location was the most central for this purpose. It was reasonable cost, clean and ample space with easy parking. I would definitely stay there again if I returned to Maui.
