Residence Villa Rosa

The view is marvellous. We also enjoyed hiking around. Amalfi stairs are quite challenging, but we knew about that. The way down runs through old buildings that are connected one to another creating a sort of magic maze

200 euro deposit for garbage. So, it was our responsibility to collect, sort and take away our trash. Never seen this before. Deposit was fully refunded. The road to the place is very steep and narrow. You should be a good driver to come there by car.

The views of this apartment were so beautiful.

The shower was not as powerful as I’d like. At one point, the water went cold after most of us had showered - it would have been nice for it not to have ran out but it was completely fine the next day

The view from the place is amazing and i think the price for the place in Amalfi with a swimming pool was a great value for money. Ravello is a short walk, much quicker than google maps are showing due to shortcuts via the stairs. You only walk on the main road short distance. Atrani at the bottom is a rip off and expect crazy prices in the small shops. The cheapest market is Despar, in between villa and Ravello. You climb with empty backpack and coming back downstairs with a full one. The walk to the sea is much easier than my perception was after reading the reviews. My 4 years old managed to do it by himself both ways. The nicest beach is on the left hand side, 500m walk outside of Atrani, but is followed also by multiple stairs to go down.

The transfers to the property can be very expensive as taxi driver needs to climb the hill and then downhill on the side of the property itself. From Amalfi ferry they can charge 50 eur for this 4km ride. Instead of getting to Amalfi and then to Villa it might be better to pay for direct transfer from for example Naples Airport. Also if transfer car too large, it will.leave you at the entrance gate with all your belongings, where you will need to walk to the villa with all your lugagge for 10 mins. If you have only backpack you can easily walk from Amalfi to Atrani and then via the stairs to the villa.

The view was breathtaking and the property as a whole was well kept and beautiful.

Our suite did not have air conditioning and summers here are hot. We were given 2 small fans for a 3 bedroom apartment. There are also a lot of mosquitos so it’s not ideal to leave the windows open for airflow overnight. It made for a difficult night’s sleep.

Nice place, very close to Amalfi and Positano. There was everything you need for stay. Pool was an extra attraction

Some fitness to be done every day if you want to visit the closest village- 300 steps one way 😉

The Views, the room, the breakfast

Too far from the city center.

It was a magical place with an amazing view. It was pretty close to Amalfi (20 min walk) so it was perfect for reach the ferries. Our host was really friendly and helpful. Best vacation and place I have ever had.

We had to climb many stairs to get to Atrani so I don’t recommend it for elderly guests.
