Location was great. 5 min walk to bus station. Free bike rental, although a bit basic they did the job! Kitchen with everything you needed. Bag storage for day of check out.

Annoying plastic lining under bed sheets.

Nobody speaks English, bathroom dirty, wc without cover.

Location wise was incredible, just 2 blocks from bus station and walking distance to the lagoon and city center! As well their terrace was amazing and bed was comfy! The staff was super accommodating and nice!

The shower needs some deep cleaning and unclogged while the bikes need some maintenance (They are free but for security reasons they really need to check the breaks).

I will be forever grateful with the owners and will reccomend anyone to support local hotel owners. Mr. Sergio and his wife were helpful with all your needs. The wifi was excellent, bed and shower confortable. You can delight your sleep as no noise outside when its sleeping time. Free bicycle for guests. At the top terrace you can get time to meditate and look to the stars or for an early morning sunshine. Its located 10 minutes walk away from center and ADO station.

I guess it needs a little touch up paint.

The people keeping eye on the object are kind and helpful, though it's better to know some basic Spanish. The tarrace on the rooftop of the building is a nice place to rest in a peaceful atmoshpere. There are groceries and laundry in the neighborhood, the object is only 10 minutes on foot far from the ADO station. While it's not a center of Bacalar, it's easy to get to the lake or the town center. The owners allowed us to use basic bikes of theirs to move a bit farther.

Besides the positives listed above, there are some areas to improve. The cleanliness and maintenance of the object is something worth investing time and resources. Rooms and bathrooms could be better lit and some repairing is required. In our opinion the kitchen requires maintenance and better equipment.

The room was comfortable and clean. Towels and soap included. Felt secure. Hosts were reasonably attentive on whatsapp.

The bikes were pretty run down and a bit small. Kitchen could do with a deep clean.
