La Casa de las Aves

The rooftop area was breezy and a great place to relax and enjoy the bird songs. The bikes were useful to move around, although very basic. Made it easy to get to the lakefront. The staff was lovely.

The kitchen, fridge and pantry could use closer supervision & maintenance. Construction during our stay was a bit intrusive.

Quiet location, staff really friendly.

Could be improved the cleaning, had a big spider in the bathroom and a cockroach falling off from the AC once switched on...

Loved the simple homey relaxed ambiance Lovely family run house Bicycles are included Room is comfortable, clean, good mattress, A.c and shower, good sized room. Service from the heart I felt so much at home It's few minutes by walk from the bus station yet comfortable enough to go to town centre or near lake ( 5 min bicycle away)

Shared kitchen needs a bit of a revamp.

There were free bikes we Could use to explore the town, kitchen available, nice place in the garden abd roof top, late check in

The family who took care of us is really nice :D Their kids are super nice as well, we had a great time with them and my son played with Jessie :) She is soo cute! The bikes are their for free (very old but working) and it's a game changer with the kid (he is 5 and he goes on my bike ;) ) Everything is close : grocery, fruits, soccer field at 2 corners. The lake is at 20 minutes walks but with the bikes it become so close :D The roof top is awesome with is two swings. The paints on the walls add cachet.

The beds are not super confy, there is no pressure in the shower, the dogs are barking a lot, but it's like that everywhere in Mexico haha. Drunk man in the street and drug selling just beside, but their are not annoying, they do their business and we do ours. They didn't bother us ;)

Good localization. We had room located directly in front of staircase, there were people walking close to our window (but rest of rooms seems to by located better).

A lock in door was broken, there was no possibility to lock it from inside. Bathroom had poor ventilation (little window, with no fan), where is damp on a wall. Rooftop could be great, but was neglected (broken hammock, dirty tables).

•Kitchen not clean at all, cockroaches! Water can looked dirty, not sure if the water was fresh and drinkable •Many and constantly barking street dogs in the area

no reseption nobody you can speak … is just a accomadation.Only what work perfect is the air condition the rest is a joke in my oppinion
