Nice modern facilities and building. The location was convenient - supermarket, mall and public transport all within walking distance.

Was sometimes difficult to get in - you need a QR code to get into the building but this doesn't work if there's not much light, which we discovered when we were stuck outside for 10 minutes trying to get in! We eventually tried shining a flashlight and that worked. This won't be a problem if the QR code is on your phone but we used the physical print out version.

If you like to stay a little off the city center to live like a temporary local like me, I can’t recommend this place highly enough! 1. Walking to the city center is about 50 minutes. You can walk through beautiful parks, and you can walk across 2 different bridges, each taking you to slightly different spots. 2. On a day when you don’t want to walk all the way, take a train from Tornakalns, for just one stop to Riga. The fare is more than reasonable. 3. A small Maxima X super market nearby. A much bigger Maxima XXX is 16-minute walk away. Very convenient for grocery shopping. 4. I stayed for a week. To be a temporary local, I usually have to clean the entire floor on the day of arrival because it’s going to be my home. Not this place. The building is new, but not brand new, but because the cleaning job the staff does is so impeccable, it was incredibly clean! 5. The apartment is small, but everything is arranged so smartly to utilize the space to the max, and provides everything I possibly need. Also the unit is visually pleasing. 6. Check in is with a QR code which was sent beforehand. Because I travel abroad only with wifi, I took a photo of it, copied and pasted it to Note, and saved it to iBook. It turned out I didn’t have to be this paranoid. Even the copy on iPhone Note worked.

The location is right next to the train and the windows cannot be closed because there is no air. The neighbors where loud in night although it says to be quiet after 23:00

Excellent modern facilities and amenities and well-sized apartments!

Not centrally located so requires a walk of circa 30-40 minutes to get to the centre!

First note that this is an actual university student dorm. I guess the empty rooms are rented out as hotel rooms. It is extremely clean and well equipped, each room has a small kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, sink, tea kettle. Location was not walking distance to town. But tram #10 takes you to city center in exactly 12 minutes, and the closest stop is a 3 minute walk. Friendly and responsive staff.

There is no elevator in the building. My room was on the 5th floor. One of the students was kind enough and offered to carry my suitcase all the way up, otherwise I do not know how I would make it 5 floors up. Also, no hair dryer in the room. You can ccassionally hear trains running by, but generally this neighbourhood is very quiet.

You have all you need in the room. A bit far but there are buses to the Old town
