Luxury Suites at St Petes Duplex Townhouse

The lady that came and booked me in was very polite and friendly. You could ask her anything and she answered. She was most helpful and she comes highly recommended. The accommodation was clean, neat and tidy what there was.

The kitchen did not even have a teabag or packet of coffee available. I , for one, do not travel with coffee and tea in my luggage. This is most certainly not luxury. It is VERY welcoming after a hard day of travelling. The bed was undoubtedly THE most uncomfortable I have ever slept on in my life. It is winter now - there was only one duvet and a throw available on the bed - not nearly enough. I ended up sleeping with my jersey on because of the cold. I asked for no stairs and then received an email saying that the accommodation did have stairs and in the exact same email they thanked me for my booking. Well I thought I would give it a try. Oh my word what an experience to get up and down with my crutch and this was not easy. Not an easy set of stair to get up and down with. I travel often and like to try different establishments but I am rather sorry to say that I would certainly not use this particular one again. To call yourselves "luxury" you need to up your game somewhat. I am not a moaning Minnie - I am just saying. Oh yes, the bedroom that I slept in had a blind which is totally acceptable, but it was horribly stained from the rain etc. Spoilt the look of the bedroom. The one thing that did irk me was the R750.00 deposit. This was the very first time that I have had to pay such a thing. I find this rather odd. Please do remember that this is my review and another person may have a different opinion. We are all different so try and maybe yours may be a different experience.
